Training

We offer a tailor made Sendra user-course that can be held at your location. One highly experienced Sendra person will arrange the course in co-operation with you and your colleagues. Lectures and instructions are given while the participants work with Sendra.

Objective

The main objective of the training is to learn how to use the software package Sendra, and to become comfortable with the most important functionalities. The main feature of Sendra is based on determining flow properties – Relative permeability and Capillary pressure - which reconcile the experimental data by simulation.

Each participant must have their own computer which gives the possibility to work independently with the exercises. The training is directed towards interpretation of core analysis data as it is vital with correct interpretation of the experimental data in order to determine accurate relative permeability and capillary pressure functions.

Key elements in the training are:

• Determination of relative permeability and/or capillary pressure
• Simulation and QA of the experiments from a given set of laboratory data
• Reconciliation of experimental data by history matching
• Parameter representation of the flow functions

Who should attend?

The training is designed primarily for people using the Sendra software for solving Special Core Analysis problems. Laboratory personnel involved with SCAL measurement and interpretation will find the training especially useful by learning how their results are interpreted, and enlightening the issue of how laboratory routines can be improved.

Training program

The training is scheduled for 3 days. The daily schedule is from 9 am – 4 pm, if not otherwise is agreed upon with the participants.
